I'm Brendan King, a sports fanatic who has fallen in the path to become a professional sports broadcaster. Originally I'm from a small Chicago suburb called Mokena, Illinois but since have made my home in Indianapolis as a graduate of Butler University's College of Communication. At Butler, I was a sports media major and a proud member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. I started broadcasting as a freshman in high school and have since fallen in love with it. My first professional experience came with the Indy Fuel Hockey Club (ECHL) where I was the Fuel's radio studio host and broadcast intern. I hosted four shows per game on CBS Sports 1430.
For the Summer of 2016, I moved to Cape Cod, MA to become the play-by-play broadcaster of the Cape Cod Baseball League's Orleans Firebirds. With Orleans, I got my first opportunity as a baseball broadcaster along with my broadcast team. In the summer of 2017 after graduating from Butler, I called games for the Boise Hawks of the Northwest League. The Hawks are the short-season A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. Now in my second year as a professional, I have hopped on with the South Bend Cubs, Single-A Affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. I am the #2 Voice of the Cubs calling games in the Midwest League in 2018. I strive everyday for improvement & staying positive.
